Description

This sensor will give an accurate reading of voltage in any circuit configuration with a supply voltage of less than 20Volts.Logger compatibility: ScienceScope Type 2 (See ScienceScope website for details)
±1 Amps  resolution 0.002 Amps
This is designed for use with a 20 mA current loop output device. To calibrate for measured units use the Datadisc Setup Menu > Calibrate subMenu Maximum recording frequency with Datadisc is 50 microseconds This sensor allows all possible types of investigation to be carried out:Voltage and current sensors can be used together anywhere in a circuit with a supply voltage of up to 24 Volts with no interference between sensors. All work from DC to 10KHz.Derived Sensors: Power,  Energy, Voltage (if circuit resistance is known), RMS Current, Resistance  (requires a voltage sensor).
Typical Investigations:
Current and voltage in a diode Current and voltage in a filament bulb Current and voltage in a LDR Current and voltage in a resistor Current and voltage in a thermistor Energy consumption Heat in a resistor Relationship between power, voltage and current Relationship between steady current, charge and time Resistance in a circuit AC current-generator Force on a current-carrying wire in a magnetic field (Lorentz force)
