Description

The Advanced motion sensor can report acceleration, and it can be derived from results for the Distance Ultrasonic sensor.  This sensor calculates the magnitude of the acceleration vector or the directional acceleration for the selected axis depending on the mode selected. Both 2 axis and 3 axis versions are available.Logger compatibility :ScienceScope Type 2 (See Scienscope website for further details). The ranges are:   0-250ms-2  (resolution  0.5ms-2) 0-60ms-2    (resolution  0.1ms-2) 0-15ms-2    (resolution  0.02ms-2) X axis      ±11.5ms-2 res 0.05ms-2 Y axis       ±11.5ms-2 res 0.05ms-2 Z axis       ±11.5ms-2 res 0.05ms-2 Typical Investigations Relationship between distance, time and speed Relationship between force and work Relationship between speed, time and acceleration Relationship between force, mass and acceleration Sound and ultrasound
