Mini Projectile Launcher with Photogates – 16mm

The Mini Projectile Launcher with Photogates is a compact physics apparatus for investigating projectile motion, launch angle and initial velocity. Designed for bench-top or bench-to-floor experiments, it launches 16mm steel balls at three selectable spring settings to support repeatable investigations.

An adjustable angle scale with protractor and plumb line allows launch angles from −45° to +90° relative to horizontal. The magnetic piston helps keep the ball centred in the barrel, while a cable release minimises movement of the launcher during firing. Integrated mini photogates can connect to the compatible 45TDL Large Digital Timer for electronic timing measurements; the timer is sold separately.
