Miracle Mirror

Description

Coated with aluminum in hemispherical plastic, the inside is a concave mirror and the outside is a convex mirror, and the difference in the image due to the viewed irregularities is clearly understood. In addition, it is a feature of this instrument that you can see a virtual image of your finger when it is inserted into the concave mirror; it appears to pop out toward you!

Experiment to see actual images and students can also experiment with sunlight, but do not leave the mirror in the sun because its rays focus on the concave mirror (adult supervision recommended).
