IEC Hodson Light Box and Optical Kit

The IEC ‘Hodson’ Light Box and Optical Kit is designed for hands-on investigations of light, reflection, refraction and colour mixing in school science laboratories. It combines a robust light box with optical accessories in a compact three-section styrene foam storage case.

The light box uses a 12V 30W quartz iodine (QI) lamp. Its lamp socket and moulded, stackable banana-plug leads allow two light boxes to be connected together for suitable demonstrations.

Compatible Power Supply and Replacement Parts

The 44PST 6V/12V AC Transformer is designed to fit the reserved compartment in the kit's foam housing. Replacement components include the 43LBUHK Upper Optics Kit, 43LBH Foam Housing and 43LBO Replacement Light Box. Power supply and replacement parts are sold separately.
