LED Diffraction & Interference Set

Description

Use the single slit, double slit and diffraction grating in this kit to investigate the diffraction of light. The width of the interference fringes can be observed and measured. The slit can be held at right angles using a dedicated slit holder. The light source is mounted on the base so that it emits light at a point making it easier to measure the width of the interference fringes. Three single slits, three double slits and two diffraction gratings are cut into one sheet making it easier to change the conditions. The four-colour light source can be stacked, making it easy to observe the difference in the width of interference fringes by wavelength.

CONTENTS:
– Light source: high brightness LED: red, yellow, green, blue. Power Supply: two AAA batteries (sold separately)

– 5 ‘flags’ for position marking (with suction cups to hold to the bench)
