Description

In 1819, Hans Christian Oersted, a professor of the Universityof Copenhagen, coincidentally discovered the magnetic effect of electric current,  so-called electromagnetism. The electromagnet coil set consists of six solenoids of different number of turns and different core materials in order to confirm and explore electromagnet properties like the interrelationship between electric current and magnetism.

This Genecon accessory kit consists of 3 sets of two types of solenoid coils and four types of core material.
Contents:
-3x Wound (100 turns) solenoid Coils
-3x Wound (200 turns) solenoid Coils
-four types of Core materials (copper, aluminium, and glass) 3 each and x6 iron.
-15x O-rings
Dimensions: 17 x 48 mm (solenoid Coil), 5 mm × 55 mm (core material)

Each Student set will consist of:
1. Coil with 100 turns x1 pc
2. Coil with 200 turns x1 pc
3. Core made of copper x1 pc
4. Core made of aluminium x1 pc
5. Core made of glass x1 pc
6. Core made of iron x1 pcs
7. O-ring x5 pcs
