TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – DELTA EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES LTD. (“DESL”)
TERMINOLOGY:
“DESL” refers to Delta Educational Supplies Ltd. The “customer” refers to any person, company or organisation that
DESL approves as an entity to which it sells goods. “Goods” refer to all products and services offered for sale by
DESL.
PRICES:
The purchase price of goods ordered from DESL is shown exclusive of GST On this website. Prices displayed are
subject to change without notification; we reserve the right to invoice the goods at prices concurrent from the
date of dispatch from our warehouse.
TITLE TO THE GOODS:
Ownership of all items will remain the property of DESL until all amounts owing are paid in full.
GST:
All goods and services in New Zealand are sold subject to a 12.5% Goods and Services tax.
PAYMENT:
DESL account holders can place orders and have orders charged to their account. If goods are ordered on account, payment must be made in full by the 20th of the month following the date on the invoice. High value indent goods ordered specially for a customer may require partial or total pre-payment; such sales are final. ALL NON-ACCOUNT HOLDING CUSTOMERS MUST HAVE THEIR PURCHASE PRE-APPROVED AND MUST PRE-PAY BY DIRECT CREDIT TO OUR ACCOUNT PRIOR TO ANY GOODS BEING DISPATCHED.
DELIVERY:
Under normal circumstances, orders placed for delivery in New Zealand will be delivered within 3 days. Where at all
possible, the customer will be advised if the item is out of stock.
BACK ORDERS:
If any item ordered is out of stock or can only be partly supplied from stock, the customer will only be invoiced for the
items supplied.
FREIGHT:
Charged at cost on all shipments. Chemicals carry a separate freight charge as per our chemical suppliers’ charges.
More than one freight charge per chemical order may apply due to chemical shipping regulations and/or if more than
one supplier is required to fulfil the order.
DISCREPANCIES & BREAKAGES:
Any discrepancy in quantity or specification of goods supplied, or in transit damage must be notified to DESL within
seven working days of the date of delivery.
RETURN OF GOODS & GUARANTEES:
“No Hassles Guarantee”: We guarantee your satisfaction with all of the products purchased. If you are an account
holder and for any reason you are not content with the quality of the products you receive, kindly NOTIFY US FIRST,
then return them in the original packaging and in original condition within seven days for replacement or credit.
The goods must be returned with a copy of the invoice or packing slip AND WITH OUR PRE-APPROVAL. The cost for returning goods is at the customer’s expense. Goods ordered on an indent basis especially for the customer are under no circumstances returnable unless they are found to be faulty or damaged. If any goods fail to comply with any guarantee pertaining to the goods, then DESL will repair or replace the goods.
All chemical returns must be pre-approved by DESL and returned direct to the correct chemical supplier via an approved chemical courier; DO NOT RETURN CHEMICALS TO DESL. Chemicals that have been opened are not returnable.
